Lies & Ties of Imran Khan 1999-2022 The infamous US conspiracy is not the only one

Lies & Ties of Imran Khan 1999-2022

The infamous US conspiracy is not the only one

Politics is art of impossible and every politician work for the power yet many of them have some bottom lines translated as basic principles. Use or misuse of religion, sub-religion(sect), Nationalism or sub-nationalism is part of the game but if you have a constitution (like we have 1973 constitution) than one must respect it first. Respect for diversity, equal citizenship rights for all and regard for federalism are basic principles and politics must not contradict with it. But here i need to share some facts regarding various narratives of politician Imran Khan. Currently he is not interested in remembering these facts due to numerous reasons but it will help you in understanding his flight in politics.

Concocted US conspiracy is his latest twist, but it has history that started from support of a dictator, and it included sins of omissions in the Urdu translation of his book (Jan2012), opposition & alliance with PML-Q, MQM, JUI (F), Achakzai. In APDM (Anti Musharaff alliance did struggle in 2007-08) he sat with Mollana Fazlur Rahman, ؐMahmood Khan Achakzai & Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharief. In October 2007 when Benazir Bhutto decided to return to Pakistan it was same PDM who had welcomed her. When i am writing for this blog two stories about Imran Khan are in the market so just check these links first.

The PTI government on behalf of Pakistan signed the deal ‘Deed of Confidentiality’ between the NCA and M/s Bahria Town Pvt Ltd, reveal the official documents SAMAA TV’s premier Investigation Unit has had an access to. The documents also disclose that the PTI government authorized Mirza Shahzad Akbar, the then head of the Assets Recovery Unit, to sign the said agreement on behalf of the state of Pakistan.

Another one

It was our friend and old comrade of Miraj Muhammad Khan Mr Arshad Butt who had resigned from PTI from the post of President Lahore PTI President in March 2000, and the reason of resignation was support of Dictator Gen Musharraf who had abrogated the constitution just 5 months before at 12 Oct 1999. Unlike his claims or narrative, IK supported the dictator till October 2002 that exposed his love for democracy, rule of law etc. Even after 13 months of 9/11 event, he remained with dictator. His party and he himself supported flawed referendum of Musharraf held at April 30th, 2002. In October 2002, under Sham democracy, dictator had organized Elections 2002 but IK did not boycott it. After the election he got only one seat and he immediately took U-turn and in coming PM elections he supported head of opposition and that was none the other but Mollana Fazlur Rahman. Nopw a days IK use bad language against the Mollana but he did not inform his fan club that he even voted for Mollana in the past. After it IK started targeting Musharraf loyalists like PML-Q, MQM and Sheikh Rashid. In this period he often praised Mian Nawaz Sharif & Benazir Bhutto and even criticized Musharraf against sentence & exile of Nawaz. Below are some links that help you to understand why IK had joined Anti Musharraf parties alliance APDM in 2007 & 2008. APDM had ANP, JUI (F), Achakzai, Nawaz Sharif etc in it. Now a days he hardly ever mention APDM in front of his Fan Club. few links

APDM to resume boycott campaign

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of the JUI-F, said the assembly members of the APDM component parties would submit their resignations from the National Assembly

Anti-Musharraf parties cautiously welcome Benazir's return home

Mian Nawaz Sharif, Benazir Bhutto, Mollana Fazulr Rahman had participated in election 2008 but IK along with few tiny parties boycotted it. Meanwhile major political as well as parliamentary parties did historic 18th amendment and also agreed on NFC award and it was a big blow to non-democratic forces in the country who had huge illegal stakes in the State. That blow created an opportunity for IK who had multiple failed experiences in his credit till to day. //it was a time when the Pasdaran e Pakistan were in worry about their future and informal businesses. In short, it was beginning of an unholy alliance. In a decade time, this alliance used all undemocratic, unconstitutional ways just to usurp power, they floated heroic ideas, used religion card and finally after CPEC & Yemni resolution they got a chance, thanks to various local as well as international factors. The year 2015 was important because Pakistan was ready to explore its self reliance in many ways.

and read this too

On 20 April 2015, Pakistan and China signed an agreement to commence work on the $46 billion agreement, which is roughly 20% of Pakistan's annual GDP

This big change was fully supported by political as well as parliamentary parties so in many ways it was perceived as a challenge for non democratic forces. It is important to note that even democratic media in US like Newyork Times showed reservations against CPEC even in 2015 and 2016.
Pakistan was the ugliest example of misuse of Panama Papers leaked in April 2016. It was used just to fix elected government and in this game pasdaran e Pakistan were on forefront and its ultimate beneficiary was Imran Khan. What happened after it is well recorded including massively rigged 2018 elections but during his period Pakistan faced worst things.

Pakistan Ka Matlub Kia ... was it an Official Slogan of Muslim League?

Pakistan Ka Matlub Kia ...
Was it an Official Slogan of Muslim League?

Malik Ghulam Nabi was a veteran Muslim League member who was born in 1909 at Amritsar, Punjab and had joined Muslim Student Federation Punjab and worked for the All India Muslim League. He was also among those who had joined PPP and was member of Punjab Assembly too. He argued that the ML struggled for the rights of South Asian Muslims while majority of Islamist Parties who worked for Islamic fundamentalism were not only against AIML but they were also against even the creation of Pakistan. He recorded an event in his autobiography Qisa Aik Saddi Ka (Story of 100 years), published by Sang e Meal Publications Lhore.

The event was All India Muslim League session held at Dina Hall, Karachi at 14 December 1947. A man reminded Quaid e Azam about the slogan Pakistan Ka Matlab Kia.... After listening him Quaid said, Sit Down, Sit Down, neither I, nor my Working Committee nor the council of All India Muslim League has ever passed such a resolution wherein I was committed to the people of Pakistan. You might have done so to catch a few votes.

It was not an official slogan of Muslim league and even not popular all over the Punjab but in few districts some candidates used it.
These days this slogan is again in use by Imran Khan but ironically father in law of his President Punjab, Malik Ghulam Nabi recorded just opposite. Malik Ghulam Nabi was father in law of Dr Yasmin Rashid and she must knew the reality well. But as Imran Khan is playing religion card so he is time and again repeating it as par agenda.
I will argue it further but first read pages from the book

Autobiography of Malik Ghulam Nabi

The struggle for the rights of South Asian Muslims & the struggle for Islamic Fundamentalism are two different things. Although they have many things in common but the appeal of Islamic fundamentalism is not limited to a nation State. But after creation of Pakistan Islamists used rather twisted many things , slogans, statements, events just to prove that the struggle for Pakistan was for Islamic fundamentalism. In developing the new narrative, they often missed many facts. One major fact was acceptance of Cabinet Mission Plan by Jinnah in July 1946, just 11 months before 3rd June Partition Plan.
