Pakistan Ka Matlub Kia ... was it an Official Slogan of Muslim League?

Pakistan Ka Matlub Kia ...
Was it an Official Slogan of Muslim League?

Malik Ghulam Nabi was a veteran Muslim League member who was born in 1909 at Amritsar, Punjab and had joined Muslim Student Federation Punjab and worked for the All India Muslim League. He was also among those who had joined PPP and was member of Punjab Assembly too. He argued that the ML struggled for the rights of South Asian Muslims while majority of Islamist Parties who worked for Islamic fundamentalism were not only against AIML but they were also against even the creation of Pakistan. He recorded an event in his autobiography Qisa Aik Saddi Ka (Story of 100 years), published by Sang e Meal Publications Lhore.

The event was All India Muslim League session held at Dina Hall, Karachi at 14 December 1947. A man reminded Quaid e Azam about the slogan Pakistan Ka Matlab Kia.... After listening him Quaid said, Sit Down, Sit Down, neither I, nor my Working Committee nor the council of All India Muslim League has ever passed such a resolution wherein I was committed to the people of Pakistan. You might have done so to catch a few votes.

It was not an official slogan of Muslim league and even not popular all over the Punjab but in few districts some candidates used it.
These days this slogan is again in use by Imran Khan but ironically father in law of his President Punjab, Malik Ghulam Nabi recorded just opposite. Malik Ghulam Nabi was father in law of Dr Yasmin Rashid and she must knew the reality well. But as Imran Khan is playing religion card so he is time and again repeating it as par agenda.
I will argue it further but first read pages from the book

Autobiography of Malik Ghulam Nabi

The struggle for the rights of South Asian Muslims & the struggle for Islamic Fundamentalism are two different things. Although they have many things in common but the appeal of Islamic fundamentalism is not limited to a nation State. But after creation of Pakistan Islamists used rather twisted many things , slogans, statements, events just to prove that the struggle for Pakistan was for Islamic fundamentalism. In developing the new narrative, they often missed many facts. One major fact was acceptance of Cabinet Mission Plan by Jinnah in July 1946, just 11 months before 3rd June Partition Plan.
