in response to kamran shafi

i think mr shaffi is not aware from the real corrupt elite of Pakistan which is strange. i donot know what JK did or not, chiefly because i neither have blind trust on AQK nor Washington post. yet timing is important in that news. but what mr shaffi wrote shows his ignorance or mistake. from 1947 till to day who are involves in big corruption scandles? poor people? lower middle classes? may be mr shaffi have few examples but at the end main beneficiary groups were/are from elite, urban, rural and tribal elite. u cannot divide them even in provinces. in good old days, from british times Elite did investments in ICS than in CSS. after that elite started investments in politicians and generals. there is not any example in Civil and Military bureaucracy who acted against Elite. Proda to abdo and than 303 all were misdirected and biased campaigns. bhutto tried but Elite joined his party after 1973. zia's islamization was another fraud to protect Elite. when  zia strengths sectarian, ethnic, linguistic groups Elite was happy.  Elite is deadly against supremacy of parliament because in democracy it feels real fears. it has there pockets in political parties but even than it has fears. fear of any real people power. every one knew who is the main beneficiary of big corruption in Pakistan. a, b, c is not issue but the issue is process.

twisting facts regarding Punjab and Punjabi

the writer does not know the history and tries to play with facts. why Britishers introduce Sindhi in sind, Bengali in Bengal and did not introduce Punjabi, kashmiri and Pushtu in respective regions? it was primarily due to Frontier Forward Policy and these regions were integral part of frontier forward policy. that is why British Ind...ian administration , instead of favoring reports from DCs in 1852-4 did not introduce. imposing urdu and hindi in the Punjab was part of defense policy of Britishers. liner in his famous work" indigenous education in the Punjab" wrote that there was not a single urdu and hindi school in the Punjab before annexation in 1849.
