Issues of Democracy in Pakistan Lok Lhar show 2023
Why democracy is in struggle and why elite especially non elected elite has reservations with democracy. Who are the new and old power players? why the all love with undocumented economy? Although Charter of Democracy (May2006) and 18th amendment & NFC award (2010) strengthen democracy yet 3rd pillar , local self government is still missing. A separate chapter regarding LSG in the 1973 constitution is the essential missing part. How PTI govt in the Punjab and PPP in Sindh played with LSG laws.
