The common love of General Ayub, Zia & Musharaf was their efforts to grow Artificial Political Elite. Although in the end that artificially groomed political elite did not come to rescue them rather remained busy in finding new horizons elsewhere. Musharaf is the one who faced it recently yet in past same happened with Ayub & Zia. In breading that A.P.E all dictators used government departments & institutions extensively which ruined not only the political system but also ruined departments and institutions from within. In their self-centred political formation, all dictators either dis-functioned popular political personalities ( as Ayub did by using infamous Elected Bodies Disqualification Order (EBDO) or dysfunctional popular political parties ( as Zia and Musharaf did). They used either decentralization (local bodies system , B D system) or party less elections to fulfil their dreams but in the end they were alone. Some players of that A.P.E abolished as soon as their mentor became dysfunctional yet many smart and politically ripped players joined popular political parties to save their skins timely. Gradually they became part and parcel of political & democratic culture and in some cases they groomed as custodian of democracy in Pakistan. recently, many A.P.E members left Q-league and joined Imran Khan, MPL Nawaz and PPP. Now they are compelled to criticize dictators and marshallas. Imran Khan, Late Omar Ashar Khan, Tahirul Qadari were among A.E.P members who joined initially but Chudhries & MQM ditched them smartly. A.P.E is not the only bread who supported Musharaf yet there were NGOs who did the same sin under the name of de-centralization and enlighten moderation as well. They earned huge money not only from infamous NRB but also from international aid agencies (donors). They tried their hard to declare Musharaf's infamous referendum transparent and did many same sins especially criticism against popular leadership. Like A.P.E their main target remained popular political parties. Interestingly, many of them these days are monitoring our elections with the help of international aid agencies (donors). Now they are compelled to change their tones and now they are like A.P.E becomes custodians of democratic culture in Pakistan. indeed, it is victory of political process compelled its opponents to praise it. If Ayub, Zia and Musharaf did not grow A.P.E , neither used government departments and institutions we would have strong state institutions and viberent political parties. In this way we can save destruction of institutions.
