Hanging of
Bhutto: Justice denied or A Court murder
April 4rth
is among the unfortunate days of Pakistan; a day when self centered military
ruler tried to bury Pakistani democracy. General Zia was not alone in that act
yet print media, rival political leaders and over smart intellectuals was also
in his bandwagon. Islamist Jamat e Islami, secular & nationalist Khan Abdul
Wali Khan and power hungry Judges were one.
Molvi
Mushtaq from Saharan pur(UP) and Anwar ul Haq from Jalandar played a negative
role because both failed to get lucrative posts during Bhutto’s time. Zia made
Mushtaq, Chief Justice of Lhore High Court at 12 January 1978 while before his appointment
Zia had made Anwar ul Haq Chief justice of Supreme Court in September 1977.
If we
analyzed politics of our region from 1977 till 1980, we would observed that a
new project was ready to launch and for that project international power
players need a weak government in Pakistan; A Yes Man. So we can analyze to
whom Zia served?
