A Time Line of History & culture of The Punjab

TIME LINE PUNJAB

A brief on going effort to revisit history of Punjab. Mahabharat called it Punjnada, regveda called it Land of Waheek ( a land who did not follow the strict religious doctrines ), Greeks called it Penta Potimia and Persians called it Punjab..from thousands years the land of five rivers have a unique unforgettable history of struggle, love and modernity which is still preserves in folk tales and sufi poetry yet there are some groups who have inbuilt biases against her. in-spite of all this, the Punjab is resisting and have colorful history, culture , music and language.

  1. I am proud of being a Punjabi. What a land of romance and romantic folk tales. Long live the Punjab.
