Issue of Islamabad Afghan bassti or Urban slum once again highlighted the issue of urban slums but question is how to handle it. if people living in that urban slums were none-pakistanis then it is more complex case but otherwise it is another case of illegal urban settelements. Issue is how to handle it? tangnazar pukhtoon and punjabi qoomparsti is found in the discussion by and large from friends at social media and private meetings. Some of them even tries to extract mere class question by forgetting role of land and drug mafia in urban slum politics. we did a program at FM 103 and tried to check the issue. just listen and try to unlearn our biases.
A Program regarding State of Urban Slums in Lhore and politics arround it. Basic issue is low cost housing yet drug and land mafia tries to twist it in its favour.
