The Bill ''Protection of Minorities'' was initiated by a Muslim League Functional minority member and at that time Mian Mitho incident was in news. After discussions Sindh assembly adopted it as law unanimously. But after that some circles started campaign against it. Finally Nisar Khurro released a statement that we are ready to review. Apparently there was not any big pressure on PPP but why PPP retreated from that law is still a mystery and may unfold in near future. The most interesting turn came in this drama when Asif Zardari himself called jamat Islami head and confirmed his party's retreat regarding the bill. As par facts the bill is with governor Sindh for final approval. Just a week before this it was Bilawal Bhutto was busy in campaigns to revive liberal image of the party. He attended Dewali, he criticized honor killing and then he took the credit of the bill for protection of minorities yet now power politics ruined all.
