It is not easy to break the ice yet if media plays its cards smartly and responsibilly than one can move forward. No doubt, it is the first non-congress government which has heavy mandate and it can take bold steps too yet War hysteria lobby is very strong across borders and it has visible presence in media too.
Rajinlanth and Jayalalithaa responses will only strengthen War hysteria lobby. Is it a way to handle the situation? its not the right time to register reservations.
Rajinikanth's decision to give the event a miss comes amid political protests in Tamil Nadu over the invitation to Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The 63-year-old actor has, however, said he will be in Hyderabad on a film shoot.

The state's Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who shares a cordial relationship with Mr Modi, is boycotting the event and is unlikely to send a representative either. She had described the invitation to Mr Rajapaksa "unfortunate" and said it would deeply hurt Tamil sentiments

It is a game of nerves and gestures yet it needs little patience too.  China and Russia are making new history and in this scenario South Asia needs a mature response. From Burma to Kabul, the first step is to minimize border conflicts and then after combating extremists in all South Asian countries one can move forward towards internal trade and tourisms.

 "I am carrying a message of peace. Dialogue is the only solution," Nawaz Sharief told reporters before leaving Lahore.

Irresponsible reporting and untimely analysis will not help the prcocess yet it is remain there as an irritant. It is not the time either to register reservations nor to mention internal problems of various South Asian countries yet some over smart media persons r still trying to remind us old conflicts which is a bad taste. just watch
