Some words about IK and his May 11th Show
خان صاحب کا دعویٰ ہے کہ چوہدری افتخار، آصف علی زرداری، میاں نواز شریف اور میڈیا نے 'رل مل' کے 2013 میں جس انتخابی میلے کا انعقاد کروایا تھا وہ محض 'دیہاتی کی چادر' چرانے کا منصوبہ تھا اور وہ دیہاتی عمران خان تھے۔
ایسے 'سادہ لوح' یاستدانوں کی ہمارے ہاں ایک طویل فہرست ہے جو بس موقع کی تاک میں رہتے ہیں اور دوسروں کو استعمال کرنے کے چکّر میں اکثر خود استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔ ہجرت، خلافت و عدم تعاون سے متاثرہ یہ وہی 'ذہین افراد' ہیں جن کے ہاتھ میں بقول جناح صاحب ایک ایسے بینک کا چیک ہوتا ہے جو خود کنگال ہو چکا ہے۔
May 11th is a big day in Pakistani Democracy which marked The
First Democratic Transition in last 65 years. Does IK want to discredit that
day? No doubt there are forces in Pakistan who are certainly disturbed due to
that transition and they still in action to discredit it. Like CoD this
transition helps a lot in creating a civil military balance which is the
principal contradiction in Pakistan.
Unlike Sheikh Rasheed and Tahir ul Qadari, IK not only got
3rd position in National assembly but also have a provincial government too.
Sheikh and Qadari has nothing to lose so their "revolutionary
thinking" is understandable yet IK is losing its popularity.
Everyone is keen to make election process and media transparent,
unbiased and independent and it is in the larger interest of the Pakistan too
yet for this IK should have a plan rather adopting Gandhian tactics of Khilafat
and non co-operation. He can talk to political parties and journalist bodies
yet he is relaying on a "post-dated cheque drawn on a
crashing bank"

حلوے میں اگر مٹھاس کم ہو تو سرکا ڈالنے سے مٹھاس ہی ختم نہیں ہوتی بلکہ حلوہ ہی کھانے کے قابل نہیں رہتا۔ جمہوریت کا بھی یہی خاصا ہے کہ وہ 'زیادہ جمہوریت' کی متقاضی ہوتی ہے نہ کہ محلاتی سازشوں یا گھیراؤ جلاؤ پر انحصار کرتی ہے۔ مگر یہ بات خان صاحب کو کون سمجھائے گا؟ انھیں یہ بات 2025 میں سمجھ آئے گی کہ جب چڑیاں کھیت چک چکی ہوں گی۔
