After two unsuccessful efforts establishment is again ready to test minus one formula these days. From 2007 till 2009 it was for the betterment of Judiciary. But it did not work and the State had to reinstate Chief Justice Iftiqar Muhammad Chudhry finally. Its 2^nd victim was President Asif Ali Zardari but this time not for the betterment of judiciary but for Good Governance. After so many attempts, minus one formula did not succeed and President Zardari completed his term. But still there are forces who still want to test notorious minus one formula. Why minus one formula is still a favorite pie for establishment again and again. Its new victim is Nawaz Sharief. This time it is neither for the betterment of Judiciary nor for the Good Governance but for national Government. What will we gain from applying that formula? Bogus arguments in favor of minus one formula remain same either it works against Chudhry or Zardari or Nawaz.Instead of emphasizing on the issues of Justice, Good Governance and reconciliation why we waste our time on such issues which only satisfy insecurities of certain people.
