According to Zamier Niazi Civil & military Gazette , a renowned pre-partition newspaper had published a wrong report through its Delhi correspondent A N kummar regarding behind the scene peace efforts on Kashmir. Next day the paper not only printed an apology but also removed its correspondent from his job. yet after some days, 17 newspaper editors ( including right wing Nawa e waqat, liberal Dawn & progressive Pakistan Times headed by Faiz Ahmad Faiz) published a joint editorial and government banned the paper. by this act, editors himself allowed the state to use hammer of nationalism and it can be considered an attack on freedom of press supported by journalists, media owners and editors.  دو اپریل  2022 تک عمرانی سرکار الیکشن نہیں کروانا  چاہندی سی اتے اوس توں بعد پی ڈی ایم سرکار وی ایہو کر رہی ہے کہ دوناں واری مسلہ اک ہی سی کہ کرونا تے   نیٹو گھٹ یوکرینی جنگ بعد دنیا وچ ودھ رہی معاشی سونامی تے سب دی نظر سی جس پاروں پاکستان جہیے ملکاں نوں اوکھے فیصلے کرنے سن کہ جس بعد الیکشن وچ جانا سوکھا نہیں۔ایہہ گل اپنی تھاں پردھان  حقیقت کہ جولائی 2017 تیک ملک دے سارے معاشی اعشاریے چنگے سن ، کاروبار اگے ودھ رہے سن  اتے عالمی تے علاقائی پدر تے بھارت وچ نریندر بھائی دمودر داس مودی اتے امریکہ وچ ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ ورگیاں عفریتاں آ چکیاں سن۔ جولائی 2017 توں پہلاں کئی چنگی خبراں وی سن کہ جس وچ سی پیک  اک وڈی معاشی تے سیاسی چھال سی، ایران اک پردھان ایٹمی معاہدے پاروں  عالم تنہائیاں توں نکل وی رہیا سی تے چینی روسی اتحاد ایس سی او وچ شامل ہون دی درخاست دی چکیا سی اتے پاکستان تے بھارت اوس ایس سی او دے پکے ممبر بن چکے سن۔ ملک وچ 2013 دا سال تاں مارے اہمیتاں والا سی کیونجے پاکستان وچ پہلی وار جمہوری تے انتخابی عمل نال اک حکومت گئی سی تے دوجی چل رہی سی۔ایہو نہیں سگوں پاکستان یمنی قرارداد پاروں سعودی یمنی جنگ توں بچدے ہوئے اپنی فوج نوں وی فرقہ وارانہ ونڈ توں بچایا سی۔ پر ایہہ سب ، کجھ عالمی تے مقامی لابیاں نوں پسند نہ سی  کہ جس دا بالن پاکستان تے جمہوریت نوں بنایا گیا۔ 2018 دی چوناں راہیں جو  کھچڑی بنائی گئی اوس دھاندل وچوں عمرانی سرکار برآمد ہوئی تے ترے سال تے 7 مہنیے ایہہ کھیڈ انہاں ہی چلایا جنہاں عمران خان نوں اقتداری کیتا سی۔ ایس 43 مہنیاں دی عمرانی سرکار دے دوران اک پاسے ایف اے ٹی ایف دی تلوار لٹکدی رہی دوجے پاسے 5 اگست 2019 نوں کشمیر وچ مودی گردی ہوئی تے ترجے پاسے اگست 2021 وچ طالبان نوں دوحہ مذاکرات راہیں امریکی ہشیاریاں نال کابل وچ مڑ اقتداری کیتا گیا۔ 2020 وچ کرونا کرونا ہویا کہ جس پاروں اشرافیہ تے امیر ملکاں نوں تے کجھ نہ ہویا سگوں مڈل تے لوئر کلاس تے پاکستان ورگے ملک ہور تھلے گئے۔ ایس سارے ملبے دی گڑھتی نال جمی پی ڈی ایم سرکار گیارہ اپریل 2022 توں ہتھ پیر مار رہی ہے۔ دو وار تحریک چلاون وچ ناکام ہویا عمران خان ہن پنجاب تے خیبرپختونخوا دی اسمبلیاں توڑ چکیا ہے پر الیکشن ہون دا کوئی اتا پتہ نہیں۔اپریل بعد آئی حکومت نے ایف اے ٹی ایف وچوں تے ملک نوں کڈیا ہے پر دوجے پاسے  آئی ایم ایف سر تے  کھلتا ہے۔ پر ہن نالوں نال آئینی سوال وی سامنے ہے کہ ملک وچ  کنج دو صوبیاں وچ وکھرے الیکشن کروائے جاون؟ نگران حکومتاں تے دونوں صوبیاں وچ بن گیاں جے پر جے ایہہ اپریل2023 وچ الیکشن کروندے جے تے پھیر ایہہ دو اسمبلیاں 2028 تیک بنن گیاں۔جداں ایس سال دے اخیر تیک  عام چوناں ہون گیا تے 70 فیصد ملک وچ نگران حکومتاں نہیں بنن گیاں۔حکومتاں کسے وی پارٹی والے بناون  پھیر الیکشن کمیشن کنج آزاد الیکشن کروائے گا؟جداں دو صوبیاں وچ کسی اک یا دو پارٹیاں دی پکی سرکاراں ہون گیاں تے دو صوبیاں تے  مرکز وچ نگران سرکاراں۔ چیتے رہے کہ پاکستان بنن بعد لیاقت علی سرکار نے قومی پدر تے آئین نہ بناون بعد صوبیاں وچ الیکشن کروائے سن جس نال پاکستان وچ پواڑے ودھے سن۔ 1970 توں اج تیک پاکستان وچ قومی تے صوبائی چوناں  چند دناں دے فرق نال ہمیش اکٹھیاں ہوئیاں۔ ایہہ درست ہے کہ کئی جمہوری اتے فیڈرل  ملکاں وچ قومی تے صوبائی چوناں وکھریاں وکھریاں ہوندیاں جے اتے اوس دی پردھان مثالاں امریکہ تے بھارت ہے پر امریکہ وچ 50 اتے بھارت وچ 28 صوبے جے۔ پاکستان وچ تے چار صوبے جے تے 70  فیصدی پاکستان   پنجاب تے خیبرپختونخوا وچ رہندا ہے۔ آئین کہندا ہے کہ جس صوبائی یا قومی اسمبلی نوں  توڑیا جائے اوس وچ 90 دناں وچ الیکشن کروانے پیندے جے۔ 18ویں ترمیم وی آئین دا حصہ ہے جو نگران سیٹ اپ توں بغیر الیکشن کروان نوں ڈکدی ہے۔سونے تے سہاگہ اینج چڑھیا ہے کہ اپوزیشن لیڈر عمران خان پنجاب دی نگران سرکار تے الیکشن کمیشن دوناں توں تنگ ہے۔ ایہہ وی پکے گل کہ اوہ فوری طور تے پورے ملک وچ چوناں لئی پریشر ودھا رہیا ہے تے اسمبلیاں توڑنا ایس پریشر دا ہی ہشیار بوتھا ہے۔ جے اوس نوں دو صوبیاں وچ چوناں لڑنیاں پیاں تے ایہہ اوس لئی گھاٹے دا سودا ہو سی۔ قومی اسمبلی دی چوناں مارچ وچ ہون گیا کہ ایہہ وی اک وڈا امتحان ہے۔ ہن دو پاسی کھڑچ کنڈل ہے تے کھیڈ الیکشن دی ایس نوں پخا رہی ہے۔ عمران خان نوں کئی قسم دے کیساں دا سامنا ہے کہ دھی لکاون دا کیس اوس دی اخلاقی اتے ممنوعہ فارن فنڈنگ کیس اوس دی معاشی ٹنڈ کر رہیا ہے۔ اوس نوں ایہہ پک ہے کہ شہباز گل، سواتی، فواد چوہدری تے شیخ رشید دے کیس تے نرے ٹریلر جے تے وڈی فلم اوس تے ہی چلنی ہے۔ ہن جیل بھرو لہر دا اعلان وی کر دتا ہے کہ جس دی تریخ دین نوں ہلے اوہ   تیار نہیں کہ ایہہ مہاتما گاندھی والا عدم تعاون اوہی ہے جو پردھاناں نوں بلیک میل کرن دا پرانا آہر ہے کہ  پہلی جنگ وچ بھرتیاں دیں والے مہاتما عدم تعاون دا چولا اوس دن پایا سی جداں اوہ انگریزاں باقی کالونیاں یعنی آسٹریلیا، نیوزی لینڈ ، کینیڈاتے جنوبی افریقہ  نوں ڈومینین سٹیٹس دے دتا سی پر برٹش انڈیا نوں انکار کر دتا سی۔گاندھی ہوری جو دو وار میڈل پہلی لام وچ لے چکے سن نے سلطنت تے وعدہ خلافی دا الزام لاندے  خلافت تے عدم تعاون چکی سی جس دا انجام دو سال وچ چورا چوری وچ سب ویکھیا۔ کانگرس دو دھڑیاں وچ ونڈی گئی سی تے مہاتما اکلا رہ گیا سی۔ عمران خان نوں سب ویکھنا ہے کیونجے ہن سب  متا پک چکیا ہے بس ڈوئی پھیرنی رہ گئی ہے۔

A Case of Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old who died at Jan 10. He was black & he was tortured by all 5 black officers but it was reported as a racist incident that diverted the real issue.

Its not a case of Punjab police but it happened in the most advance country i-e the United States of America and it is a case of State Torture. In this case both victim & killers are balck, so it has no resemblance with #GeorgeFloyd case But media generally linked it. It resemble if you consider both as case of State tirture by security persons. It is case against the sanctuity of uniform indeed. But from India, Pakistan eleswhere the case of #Tyre reported otherwise.

Five police officers who were involved — Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr. and Justin Smith — were fired. The officers, who are Black, were charged on Thursday with second-degree murder and kidnapping, among other charges.

Torture by people in uniform is a big issue but it often diverted during reporting in many ways. Talking in faminest , anti racist etc ways is good, some time refrence of languages, religions, sects etc also may good but when it comes to State Torture it is essential to report it streight. As uniform represent the State so torture by State needs little more attention.

The law regarding Status of Punjabi women was passed in 2014 when the current PM was CM Punjab. Fauzia Waqar was appointed its first Chairperson who worked for 2014-16 & 2017-19 but after it till today this seat  is vacant and it shows the preferences of PTI government of Buzdar. As the leader of PTI Imran Khan had declared that the Taliban are “breaking the chains of slavery,” than what you can expect from his hand picked government in the Punjab. 

The Punjab Commission on Status of Women (PCSW) is a human rights institution in Pakistan, which was established by the Government of Punjab in March 2014 under the PCSW Act, 2014

What is the real issue? we signed international agreements, we make laws, we get international fundings but at implementation stage we often failed many commitments. From NDMA till PCSW situation is familiar and it needs little attention.

J S Garewal Puray ho gaye, A committed Punjabi soul 

(1927, Lyalpur , 2022 Chandigarh) 

In 1927 Garewal was born in Layalpur ( Now Faisalabad), His village was JB46. He studies sciences and accounting but later decided to become a student of history. In 1945-7 he was in Lhore and studying in F.C. Collage (now University) and before it he studied in G C Layalpur. He studied Sufi traditions of the Punjab and Medieval politics well. He knew many languages other than Punjabi like Persian, Urdu, English etc. You may differ with his analysis, but his translation cum edited work of Ganesh Das book Char Bagh Punjab is among the pioneering works to understand Pre British Punjab.

He liked Sikh religious poetry wrote about Baba Nanak but when he analysed other Punjabi writers and poets he used hammour of secularism for them. One example was his shallow criticism on Amarta Pritum famous poem Aj Akhaan Waris Shah nu......
