When a secular state use religion to appease some community then it allows orthodox elements within that community to grow. just read an example of Indian Congress party at the beginning of freedom struggle as reported by Mr Mildred Talbot in Alex Von Tunzelmann famous and unusual book INDIAN SUMMER page 04.
