Just read claims of PIA till 1980 but the same organization was ruined by dictator Zia and now perception is totally different. Blaming politicians and civilian rulers for all crimes and failure of profit making institutions is a usual trick. The ad shows that PIA was able to buy Bowing 747 with its own resources. Downfall of PIA started during Zia dictatorship. Ad published in a Karachi based literary magazine SEEP Issue no 41, Sept-Oct 1980
