Orange Train & Protection of Old Buildings of LHORE: Will resolve from Court soon

Orange Train & Protection of Old Buildings of LHORE

Will resolve from Court soon

How one should raise an issue is the important thing yet in our legacy of anti-colonial & anti dictatorship struggle we often miss the difference of opposition during Democratic rule. The case is a particular example.
Now the Court is in action and ready to take the issue as civil society went to Court.
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court stayed on Thursday the construction work of Orange Line Metro Train in the 200-metre radius of 11 heritage sites, protected under the Punjab Special Premises (Preservation) Ordinance, 1985 and Antiquity Act, 1975.
I did a radio show at FM 103 @ my weekly program Lok Lhar Save Old Buildings of Lhore? at 30th November 2015 and tried to convince a leader Maryum Hussein that  you better concentrate on  issue of protection of Old buildings of  Lhore and go to Court. She remained reluctant to limit it to old building issue. she want to address numerous issues simultaneously and also ready to accommodate political opponents.   But finally in Court they are following what I told in the radio show. u may listen that radio show yourself. http://punjabpunch.blogspot.com/2015/11/save-old-buildings-of-lhore-listen-and.html
