Why Republicans are still playing with Religion?

Upcoming US election is an effort to revive cold war with a difference. Like Moody new Republican presidential candidate is trying to attract voters of the majority religion in Us i-e Christians.  Playing with religion is still common and the last republican president G W Bush too used such notions not only against Muslims but also against Guys during his tenures. It was Bush junior who used the tern Crusades after 9/11 and before Iraq War. It is their history and they love to make nexus of Religion, Nationalism and War. Some time they use nationalism, as they did against JFK, some time they mix religion with war, an old British Empire legacy, as they did during and after Afghan Jihad. They ruined whole Pak-Afghan-Iran region in late 1970s, made President Carter a horrible example and inducted Jihadis throughout the world.  In order to defeat President Carter they smartly supported Islamic change in Iran from the other side of the fence in usual Machiavellian style. AlQaida and Talibans are byproduct of that bad policy and till 9/11 that byproduct even became a threat for United States itself.  But Republicans does not learn lesson from it and still using nexus of Religion, Nationalism and War. Either they are following Moody of India or like AlQuida, Moody is too their product yet both are Children of colonialism. During his recent election campaign Moody used nexus of Hindu religion, War with China and Narrow nationalism in India and defeated Congress. Recent statement of new republican presidential candidate is in the same line.
