Extremists and Warmongers are on one Page?
In India
Anti-Pakistan lobby & in Pakistan Anti-India lobby have a mischievous alliance
with terrorists & extremists and the hidden force behind it is border
conflicts. Either we like it or not but in every region border conflicts proved
self-destructive and in many ways it
extends an ample space for Non-State actors by & large. Border conflict is
an inbuilt problem of modern nation state phenomenon yet its cure is in porous
borders. The better Pakistan, India and
Afghanistan understand it the sooner we can change our region.
Fortunately
in Pakistan since 2013 elections all the three popular parties did not use
Anti-India syndrome which shows a sense of maturity yet the case of India is altogether
different. How Hamachal Pardesh Congress CM played regarding security of Pakistan Cricket team showed the millrace. Unfortunately defeatist
Congress party is still using
Anti-Pakistan syndrome which is a sign of shame. Congress unlike its counterparts (BJP or
Shive Sina) cannot take a lead but by using it she will further deteriorate
herself in the eyes of peace lovers. Congress can learn lesson from PPP of Pakistan
who neither change her stance regarding peace between India and Pakistan nor
supported extremism and terrorism even after the defeat in 2013 elections.
In QCG group
US and China are trying to help Pakistan and Afghanistan in tackling extremism
threats and it will ultimately benefit India in either case. If warmongers and terrorists can come on One page
than why forces of peace are still reluctant? Point scoring on Anti-Pakistan syndrome will
neither help Congress or Indian civil society any more as it is time to show
their commitment with peaceful South Asia.
Indian PM cannot do it with personal somersaults because tackling
extremism is a big challenge and in the presence of border tensions both countries
cannot tackle this problem.
